ICT plays a crucial role in reducing public expenditure, saving civil servants time, and helping to improve the government’s green credentials. The Government Digital Service (GDS), established in 2011, is overseeing the implementation of initiatives, such as the Public Services Network and the G-Cloud, which are saving the government time and money. GDS is also responsible for bringing previously wayward government ICT projects, such as Universal Credit, back on track. Meanwhile, government strategies such as the End User Device , the push to ensure interoperability of ICT systems across government, and the Green ICT agenda is increasing public sector efficiency further, while reducing the government’s carbon footprint.

Join us at The Future of Government ICT Summit and Exhibition where we will discuss the current state of the government’s wide ranging ICT agenda and the challenges and barriers the government faces to save time, money, and improve the environment through improved government ICT.
