EURECA will be represented at the DataCentres Ireland exhibition and conference taking place at the Royal Dublin Society, on 9th November 2016. Dr Bashroush’s talk will provide an overview of the EURECA project and its public sector procurement innovation services. Additionally, the talk will highlight some of the early findings around optimising hardware refresh rates to reduce energy consumption and the overall environmental impact of data centre facilities. Dr Bashroush will also serve on an expert panel discussing data centre certification and accreditation. The panel will also feature Mark Acton, another EURECA member.
