Umaima Haider

Research Fellow, University of East London

Dr Haider is the Scientific Researcher and Project Manager of the EU Commission EURECA project; and a Research Fellow within the Enterprise Computing Research Lab (https://www.eclab.uel.ac.uk) at the University of East London. Previously, she held a visiting research scholar position at Clemson University, South Carolina, USA. She also worked as a Lecturer (HPL) at the University of East London.

Currently, Dr Haider’s main research interest is in the design and implementation of energy efficient systems, especially in a data centre environment. Her research also focuses on Software Architecture (particularly, Architecture Description Languages (ADLs)), Software Product Lines (SPL) and Variability Management.

Dr Haider has been awarded PhD in Software Engineering from the University of East London. She received her MSc degree in Computer Security Forensic & Risk Management from the University of Greenwich, and the BEng in Computer & Information System from the NED University of Engineering & Technology. She is also a CPSA-F (Certified Professional for Software Architecture –Foundation Level) certified from iSAQB.
